Summer Surf Free Bracelet Beading Pattern
Easy Beaded Bracelet or Anklet Pattern
This beaded bracelet or anklet pattern is made using peyote or gourd stitch. The colors and waves are reminiscent of the summer beach! Make this project using Delica seed beads for a bracelet or using larger size 11 seed beads for an eye-catching anklet.

About the Beading Pattern
Bracelets and anklets take a lot of wear and tear, so use a strong thead, like size D Nymo or doubled size B. Pre-stretch your thread before beading. If desired, treat the thread with a conditioner like Thread Heaven or beeswax. You can easily shorten the pattern by omitting some of the end yellow rows. Length the design by extending the pattern in one or both directions. To finish the piece, attach a clasp or make your own. I made my anklet (beads are Matsuno) by adding 3 rows of peyote over the outer four beads at each corner of the beadwork strip. Then I added some turquoise chips and crackle glass beads to make loops with dangles. My anklet fastens by slipping one loop through the other and then feeding the dangle through the loop. At the time of this writing, the original anklet (in the photo) has successfully survived two years of wear in the ocean and bath. Gotta love nylon thread!
